The new Manakonline Platform includes a Virtual Reading Room (VRR) and Library Service Centre module — transforming digital access to Indian Standards for manufacturers, researchers, and quality professionals.
The VRR will provide digital reading experience for BIS-published Indian Standards. Currently standards require physical purchase or visiting BIS offices. The VRR changes this by enabling online access, with appropriate subscription or per-standard access models.

The National Institute of Training for Standardization (NITS) module (Batch 4) enables digital course registration, materials access, and certification management for BIS training programs in standards, quality management, and conformity assessment.
Standards Promotion Student Chapter (Batch 5) creates digital infrastructure for BIS's engagement with engineering colleges — online chapter registration, activity tracking, and student access to standards resources for academic projects.
