IS/IEC 62368-1:2023

India's adoption of IEC 62368-1:2023 Edition 4 replacing IS 13252 and IS 616. Mandated November 2025. 42 product categories, mandatory transition by November 2028. New XR devices category (May 2026 deadline).

IS 302 (Part 1):2024

Aligned with IEC 60335-1:2020. Made mandatory via QCO 2026 for 90 household appliance categories. Large enterprise deadline: 1 October 2026.

IS 18112:2025

New standard for television sets. Required alongside IS/IEC 62368-1:2023 for all TV certifications. Covers picture quality, energy performance, and TV-specific safety requirements.

IS 16333 (Part 3):2022

Mobile phone-specific requirements including SAR limits. Required alongside IS/IEC 62368-1:2023 for mobile phone BIS CRS registration.
